Unlikely Inclusion

Ephesians 3:1-13

God has historically surprised humanity with who he selects to be involved in his purposes. Paul, in Ephesians 3:13, indicates that he's witnessed and experienced God's unlikely inclusion. Jaron looks at this passage and points out that all Christians have an experience with God’s unlikely inclusion that is similar to Paul’s. We have also seen God include all his people in his purposes.

The Great Reconciliation

Before Jesus, we were all dead in sin. But non-Jews were also alienated from God and hopeless. In our text, Paul describes, in a series of lists, our desperate state, what Jesus did, and where the beneficiaries of his work of reconciliation are now. We consider each of those, then think a bit about our appropriate response.

Giving God’s Eulogy
